Trackrs in Claude

What is it?

Trackrs has an official connection (an MCP connector) to Claude. Once Trackrs is connected, you can ask Claude in an ordinary conversation about tools, locations, projects, service and loans, and have Claude make changes for you.

The connection works in claude.ai, in the Claude desktop and mobile apps, and in Claude Code.

Requirements

• A Trackrs company on the Pro, Business or Enterprise plan, or in a trial.
• All members can read data through Claude. Only admins and owners can change data.

How to connect

1. The easiest way: Claude's connector directory

Trackrs is listed in Claude's connector directory. Open Trackrs in Claude, or search for Trackrs under Customize → Connectors in Claude, and press Connect. Log in with your Trackrs user and approve access. You don't need to enter a URL or a client ID.

Trackrs on the web takes you to the same place: go to Virksomhed (Company) → AI → Trackrs i Claude and click Forbind Trackrs til Claude (Connect Trackrs to Claude).

2. Manually in Claude

If that doesn't work, add Trackrs as your own custom connector:

1. Open Claude and choose Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Enter the name Trackrs and the URL https://trackrs.dk/mcp.
3. Log in with your Trackrs user and approve access. No client ID is needed; Claude identifies itself automatically.

3. Team and Enterprise: for the whole organization

An owner of the Claude organization can add Trackrs once for all members with this link: add Trackrs in Claude admin settings. Each member then logs in with their own Trackrs user.

4. Claude Code

Add the connection directly:

What can Claude do?

• Find tools: look up a tool and see its status, location and movement history.
• Locations: see locations (vans, containers, sites, warehouses) and what is on them.
• Projects: find projects and see which equipment is assigned.
• Loans: lend tools to an employee and return them.
• Placement: assign tools to locations or projects.
• Create and edit: create one or many tools at once, update details and archive tools.
• Missing tools: see what is missing and mark tools as found.
• Service: see service schemas and which tools are due for service.
• Mesterplan: if your company has connected Mesterplan, Claude can also find Mesterplan projects and customers and create a customer from a CVR number.

Workflows (skills)

Once Trackrs is connected, you can use ready-made workflows in Claude:

• New location/van (Ny lokation/bil): create a new location and put equipment on it.
• Weekly missing-tools report (Ugerapport over manglende værktøj): an overview of what is missing and where it was last seen.
• Service due (Service forfalder): what needs service, and when.
• Equipment for a project (Udstyr til projekt): gather the equipment a project needs.

The workflows are also available as a plugin for Claude Code: github.com/rasmussen-solutions/trackrs-claude. They contain only instructions and no data.

Privacy and disconnecting

Claude never receives your password, only a time-limited access token, and can only see what your own role allows. Trackrs does not send data to Claude on its own; data is fetched only when you ask Claude for something. Read more in our privacy policy, section “Trackrs in Claude”.

You can disconnect at any time by removing Trackrs under Connectors in Claude, or by revoking access under “Connected apps” on your account: idp.rs-systemer.dk/account/connections.
